Sharing Economy
I think all of us learned the importance of sharing as children. We were told to share with our siblings, our fellow classmates, and other kids on the playground. Why then, may I ask, do we shy away from sharing as adults? Our society is obsessed with the idea of ownership and for decades our worth, our very identity, was determined by our material possessions.
Sound ridiculous? We agree. That’s why we want to explore a new way to do things, a throwback to our kindergarten days.
Sharing.
Here at Fun Unlimited, we want to share. More importantly, we want you to share too. That’s why we’ve developed a rental company that allows you to focus on what really matters – sharing experiences with the ones you love and then allowing others to do the same.
And we aren’t the only ones. For those of you in/around Spokane, you may have seen green bikes and scooters on the sidewalks around town. Those are a part of a bike-sharing program that’s projected to start in 2019. At the moment, they are doing a test run to see what kind of response locals give.
What’s better than being able to hop on a bike and peddle down the street to the farmers market rather than get in your car, drive down the street, find parking, pay for parking, and then drive back afterward? Think about it. How much time do you waste every time you venture downtown trying to find a parking space? How many minutes slip by while sitting in traffic? Now you can spend that time doing what you love and make the most of your day.
We are so excited to see this kind of growth here in Spokane and are eager to be a part of it as well. Starting in 2019, Fun Unlimited will be offering a boat club membership. All of our members will be able to experience the fun of having a boat, without the hassle. No storage, no maintenance, no licensing or permits – just fun. Rent it for a day, make some amazing memories, and then pass it on to the next member so they can do the same.
