How Does the Boat Club Work?
We are the only Boat Club in the region! Once you’re a member, it’s easy. Choose the type of boat you want and which of our locations you want to boat from (Spokane River/Lake Coeur d’Alene in Post Falls or Pend Oreille River/Lake Pend Oreille near Sandpoint). Then schedule up to three boat sessions at a time, up to six months in advance.
‘Spur of the Moment’ reservations are also possible when available. Our reservation system is easy to use, and you can reserve, cancel, or modify your boating sessions all online. Then all that’s left is getting out on the water!
Is Our Boat Club Right for You?
Yes! If you enjoy:
- A variety of boats
- A variety of locations
- Convenience
- Less Stress
- On the water training
Boat club memberships are great for boaters who want to save money (if you do the math, being in a boat club is about 1/3 the cost of owning boat) and limit the stress in their lives that can come from boat ownership. Carefree Boat Club of North Idaho also gives those who are new to boating a chance to learn the ropes of operating a boat. We love to share our passion for boating and offer private hands-on learning sessions. Our introduction to boating covers rules of navigation, local regulations, operation of each boat you are interested in piloting, general safety, knot tying, and more. We will also practice launching, landing, and safe maneuvering. This service is complimentary to new club members!
Carefree Boat Club of North Idaho also gives more seasoned boaters the opportunity to try different kinds of boats on different lakes. As a member, you’ll be boating on tritoon pontoons, fishing boats, open bows, wakesurf boats, and sailboats.
